The Col. Frederick A. Bartleson Chapter, under the direction of its Chapter Historian, has undertaken a project to compile a comprehensive list of Civil War veterans who served from; enlisted at; or, are buried in, Joliet, Illinois. 
   The following pages contain names, service records and biographical data for individuals meeting those criteria.  In the interest of accuracy and inclusiveness, material from a variety of  sources (if available), was researched and reproduced for each soldier.
