Daniel W.
Himes, 84 years old, one
of Will county’s few surviving Civil War veterans, died this morning at
his
home, 318 Bellview avenue.
He is survived
by one daughter,
Rose of California, and one son, Robert of Iowa.
Members of
Bartleson post, Grand Army of the Republic, will attend the funeral
services
which will be conducted at the Edward F. Dames funeral chapel at 2 o’clock, Thursday afternoon.
