     Edgar Butterfield
     Died at his home in Joliet, January 7th, last [1909], at the age of 69 years.  He was born in Morris, Otsego County, N.Y. October 20th, 1838, and came to the city some fifty years ago.  He was a veteran of the Civil War, having served almost five years in Co. B 46th Illinois Volunteer Infantry.
